Rolling Bass

Description

Layer 1 of the Pumping Duo project: a rolling bass in A minor that plays itself on the clock, and sends the beat to the other layers.

Path: Clock (16ths, and its Reset so the first step falls on the beat) -> Seq (rests on every beat, where the kick goes) -> Quantizer (A minor) -> VCO saw three octaves down -> Ladder, opened by a short envelope -> VCA -> Out 2. Out 2 goes past the master's delay and reverb, so the bass stays dry (with Separate outputs on, Bitwig gets it on its own output).

The LayerOut "Beat" sends the clock's quarter notes on Gate and the bass's notes on CV: the Pad layer pumps to the Gate.

Try: Cutoff and Res (macros 1 and 2); draw another line on the Seq.
