Help & support
Something not working, or a question about a plugin or an app? Write to contact@oroboro.space. We read every email.
Writing to us
It helps to say which plugin or app it's about and its version (in its About), your computer or iPad and its system version, and the music software you use it in. A screenshot or a short recording often says the rest.
Desktop plugins
Installing
Each download has an INSTALL.txt that says where its files go on Windows, macOS and Linux. Restart your music software afterwards so it finds the plugin.
Licenses
Without a license a plugin plays in demo mode. To activate it, sign in to Oroboro from the plugin, or paste the license from your account, where your licenses can always be downloaded again. A license is for a limited number of computers: you can free one on your account page.
Refunds
See the terms of sale.
iPad and iPhone apps
Using an app in your music app
Each app is also an Audio Unit (AUv3). Open the app once after installing it, then add it in your music app: GarageBand, Logic Pro, AUM, Cubasis, Loopy Pro and others list it under Audio Units as Oroboro. Effects take their sound from the track they're on, not from the microphone.
Presets and files
Presets and patches are in the Files app, under On My iPad (or iPhone) and the app's name.
Purchases and refunds
The App Store handles purchases: a bought app downloads again from your purchases in the App Store on all your devices with the same Apple Account. Refunds are Apple's to grant: ask at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Privacy
The apps collect nothing: see the privacy policy.
Community Library
Its rules are in the Community Library terms. To report an item, use Report on its page.
